Karen Wessels brings you her debut solo album Hoe Durf Jy?. From being in the girl band Cutt Glass, Karen has decided to do a solo album. Karen studied Drama at Pretoria Technikon where she later moved to Johannesburg to act in her first stage play "Vlerkdans".

Her singing career started when she sang along side well-known Afrikaans artists like Richard van der Westhuizen and Amanda Strydom. Her first video "Hoe Durf Jy?" is already being played on all major TV channels.

Her first single "Begeerte" was the theme song for the well-known Afrikaans Show called "Begeertes" (Kyknet drama production). Karen has definitely proved herself with her solo album by writing the songs on the album with producer, Joe Forster. Karen is destined to dominate the Afrikaans music scene (bron: vetsteun)
