Bobby van Jaarsveld won the prestigious Huisgenoot award for "Favourite Newcomer 2006". Various publications including Rapport, Huisgenoot, Vrouekeur and Vonk, referred to Bobby as the best find for 2006. He is currently part of the "Huisgenoot 90" show, celebrating 90 years of Afrikaans music.
The multi-platinum seller, THEUNS JORDAAN, recently signed Bobby to his record label as his one and only artist. Bobby has since been touring with Theuns, doing the opening act for the show (source: kalahari)
